A desert kingdom tucked away in the midst of hills, an impregnable citadel, an impressive royal lineage stretching back 26 generations, a do or die attitude and a fierce sense of independence characterise Udaipur. Unlike its desert counterparts in Rajasthan, Udaipur is situated in the forested, hilly region of Aravalli Ranges in complete contrast to the arid deserts of Marwar in the northwest. The kingdom of Mewar was ruled by the Sisodia dynasty for over 1200 years from Chittorgarh before Maharana Udai Singh II founded Udaipur in 1568 following the final sacking of their hill fortress. In sharp contrast to its spartan and martial persona are lakes, hills, temples, gardens and fairy-tale palaces that make Udaipur the most romantic and enchanting place in Rajasthan. Arrive Udaipur Airport / Railway station and transfer to Hotel Afternoon visit to City Palace and museum, Royal Residence of erstwhile King of Udaipur, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for her friends). Next day visit Jagdish Temple and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and the local bazaars. Overnight at hotel. Departure transfers to Udaipur Airport / Railway Station; End of our Services.

THE ABOVE COST INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
- Accommodation on twin sharing basis as per the itinerary, in hotels mentioned or similar.
- Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast basis.
- Arrival/Departure transfers either Udaipur airport / Udaipur railway station using an air-conditioned Toyota Innova or similar.
- Meet and greet services by Eastbound/Associate office in Udaipur.
- Services of English speaking local guide for half day city tour.
- Entrance fees (Single entry) are included in the above cost.
- Cruise in a common boat on Lake Pichola.
- All currently applicable taxes.
THE ABOVE COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Any services other than the ones mentioned above.
- Any Airfare or Train fare.
- Any mandatory X’mas eve and New Year eve Dinners (if applicable).
- Visa charges, airport taxes, table drinks, telephone calls, tips to driver/guide/naturalist, camera fees, international airfare, laundry etc or any other items of personal nature.
